The Project – rightsize the data center to meet the current needs – recover as much usable space as possible and do the work within a very tight window of opportunity. Quality Power Solutions installation and removal crew went onsite for 4 days as allowed by the client.
Two redundant UPS 675 kVA systems including the paralleling switchgear were removed from the main electrical room which was still in service. QPS removed the gear without disruption to the other critical power systems supporting the remaining load. The work was done while coordinating with four other trades operating in the same general area.
The work was done with strict adherence to OSHA, NFPA70E and local occupational safety authorities. On time, on budget and without disruption just what the client asked for and just what Quality Power Solutions delivered.
Even though we changed our schedule numerous times, the QPS team met our dates and performed flawlessly and professionally, as usual. Working within a live critical infrastructure is always challenging, but the QPS team made us feel comfortable with the task as they understood our requirements and regulations and performed the necessary work accordingly. We really appreciate your attention to detail along with the great attitude towards the job, however difficult the tasks may be.
