NEW Energy Efficiency and Savings Calculator

At QPS, we take a comprehensive look when reviewing your backup power needs. For most of our customers we go beyond just ensuring you have properly maintained equipment. Energy efficiency is an important factor to consider in today’s backup power infrastructure and one of the leading causes of excessive energy cost. Many times we find that a company’s energy needs do not match the type of UPS equipment they have in use. Just because your equipment is being properly maintained and routinely serviced doesn’t mean that you have the most energy efficient system implemented.

One of the first things we look at when performing a facility assessment is determine if you are running a properly sized UPS system for your facility needs. By right sizing your UPS, your company could potentially save thousands of dollars in annual energy costs.

Quality Power Solutions is dedicated to improving efficiency, reducing waste, and we have made it our mission to ensure that energy conservation is a top consideration in everything we do. We’ve partnered with groups like Wisconsin’s Focus On Energy to provide even further savings and incentives to reducing waste. With that in mind, we have developed an Energy Savings Calculator so that you can use to perform a self-check of your current UPS backup systems. The purpose of this tool is to give you a clearer view of how efficient your current UPS system is, and how implementing a more energy efficient model could save you each year.

Please take a moment to download the calculator and see what the results are for your current system. Once you have a chance to review these findings, give us a call and we’d be happy to discuss with you what your next steps should be. Please contact us if you have any questions about this tool or your analysis, we can also provide UPS System efficiency statistics for most of the major UPS brands, including APC, Emerson / Liebert,  Eaton / Powerware, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Gamatronic and GE.

This tool is meant to provide an estimate. For a more accurate assessment, please contact one of our team members today.
