QPS places high importance on this step and carefully plans installation tasks, timelines and progress inspections. Delivery requirements and coordination for required electrical shutdown, for example, are among many considerations covered in the QPS project plan.
Product Procurement—As your complete source for power protection, QPS will be responsible for itemizing all power equipment necessary to complete your project. QPS has strong relationships with a variety of UPS and other power quality equipment manufacturers should expediting of products and parts be necessary to complete your project on time.
Project Management—In addition to selecting the proper equipment for your application, a successful installation requires that the project comes in on time and on budget. As project managers, we will manage all of the contractors and equipment suppliers involved in your installation. Installations often require coordination of subcontractors, client employees as well as multiple tasks and deliverables. QPS stays on top of project interdependencies and provides you with regular updates, ensuring quality control throughout the project.
Final Project Inspection—Our certification as Power Quality Professionals means that we have demonstrated a high level of knowledge, competence, experience and ethical fitness. In an environment where great variance in installer experience is found, it should be comforting to know that a QPS Certified Power Quality Professional will make an on-site inspection to assure that all installations have been completed properly.
Final Project Report—The final project inspection will be fully documented and a written report will be provided for your review.
